    The biofuel house article sounds a usual rambling by a organzation trying to raise money to pay their wages.
    There is the old palace in St Petersburg that I heard was over 100,00 square ft. One of the palaces in France is big. Buckinghampalace is acurrently inhabited house.

    • This answer is closer. Windsor Castle is the worlds largest inhabited castle at just about 145,000 square feet.
