Question

Help answer this question below.

Am I the only one who finds the term "pro-abortion" offensive? Does anyone really go around trying to make expectant women abort their babies, or is it just a vulgar attempt to demonize those who support a woman's right to choose?

In any topic of debate, one side is "for" and the other "against". This is usually signified by placing a "pro-" or "anti-" in front of the topic of discussion. I do not believe that this is a special case, or an attempt to derail or intimate anything, because it is only following already given patterns.
