    Video games are popular and easy, but they lack the potential of a good tabletop game. Having a group around a table is an awesome experience in terms of community, and with the right group you can have a lot of fun and friendships begin. In the wrong group, you still can have fun publishing your exploits, and you can gain experience needed to start your own group.

    Also, try branching out. Get Minecraft and run tabletop games through it. If nothing else, you can say you're doing both at the same time.
