Help answer this question below.

I have a dog who is 7 and has been nuetered 6 years.He whines and gets an erection,and gets a huge double knot in his penis at the base.Where his testies were.He gratifies himself for about 10 minutes every nite we go through this ritual.why does he do it

    That's quite normal. I mean, not common, but not abnormal, you know? Lots of dogs do that for whatever reason. That 'double knot' you are referring to is the part of the male dog that causes the female and male to get stuck together when mating. It's not actually a knot, so don't worry about that. He's ok!
