Question

Help answer this question below.

I just got a chain Email that basically said that Jesus would kill me and send me to hell if I didn't pass it along. Is it blasphemous for me to think that this is absolutely absurd?

You are not blaspheming by refusing to forward that garbage. In fact, all chain letters that use Jesus as an emotional hook to scare religious people, are blasphemy. I'm a Christian and I've gotten so many of these fake religion chain letters, and haven't seen anywhere near enough Christians being outraged by it and daring to speak out. So I have a site with discussion boards where I scream out all the things my friends really shouldn't hear when they send me this junk. Even when I try and be nice when letting people know the truth about what they're falling for, they abandon me, so yes, chain letters kill friendships too. Say nothing, and that's sort of like encouraging the forwarding with some of these people.
