It can take quite a while for pepper seeds to germinate, up to 30 days or more depending on the variety. I grow Ghost peppers and have successful germination after 2 days with fresh seeds, 24 hours soaking in water and 24 hours in a moist paper towel which i place between two plant saucers to produce a dome and keep things humid and the whole thing is kept between 85 and 90 F.
