Is it safe to smoke pot while on prozac? And if so, will you still have a good trip?

    Prozac itself can cause a patient to bug out all by itself, so I would be sure FIRST that you are compatible with Prozac, before complicating things with combining rec drugs. It is also possible that pot can cause depression and therfore be counterproductive espeically in heavy chronic users.

    If you are "tripping" from pot then it sounds like it is laced with ammonia or some other additive to boast its effects however if your pot is clean and additive free I seriously doubt there will be any long term or short term issues if you puff one every now and then. I would avoid heavy chronic use till your depression issues are ironed out

    • Marijuana is actually a psychedelic drug, and can cause surprising effects in high doses. Also, weed is very rarely laced with any other drugs, as it is one of the cheapest drugs around already. Nor is it often laced with harmful things such as ammonia because it's so easy to find- if a dealer sells a user crappy product, the user will simply go to another guy!
