I found a key in Lousiana. It's a weird key. Anyone have any idea what it would be used for (Picture in answer)? Inscribed along the top is "J209."

Hopefully you get this, I have a weird key story too...

I moved into an apartment around sept. of last year in Toronto, Canada. While I was repainting the whole place, I ended up having to saw the bottom of my front door because of the new laminate. I had to take a sealant off the bottom of the door which was held by screws. When I got to the last screw I noticed something weird, it was as if the rubber sealant had worn out long ago but the screw was holding something to the door....

I found a little silver key, to my amazement, right under. Something very similar but it's a complete key. The crazy thing about it, as if it wasn't crazy enough, is that the key has been painted over, which I assume is because the rubber pair was installed over it. It's thin and has "CHINA" written on it. Most likely a cheap key used for something equally cheap, but why somebody would go through the trouble of pinning it there is beyond me.
