If the religion argument can never be won by any side, why do people continue to ask questions about "how can you possibly believe (or not believe)" exactly what you believe? Kinda pointless and bandwidth wasting, no?

well, the argument will eventually be won, and people will not all realize the answer at once, but there will be an answer. it's the same reason we debate about scientific theories that we cannot prove or wholly comprehend. human nature i guess, curiosity, trying to prove/justify our own beliefs and theories. some people just like to argue, and i suppose some people like to convert :). i wouldn't call an argument that can potentially enlighten one party or the other pointless. not all religious arguments end in screaming and foaming at the mouth....

And what is winning?..Proper obedience to scripture will bring future rewards...like when Armageddon happens, those being obedient will not be destroyed. Jehovah's patience will have run out. (Psalm 37:9) For evil men will be done away with, But those hoping in Jehovah will possess the earth. (Psalm 37:29) The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. Question: Is the RCC, Pope and all, being obedient? (Exodus 20:4, 5)

Interesting question. I know exactly what you mean, were it gets to the point of beating a dead horse. This happens when others impose their religious views, only to get reprimanded by Scripture. All-Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17) The way to find out about which creed or Religion is the most accurate is by sound doctrine.

"Most commenters" do not speak for the Seventh-Day Adventists. In fact, we are a minority. We only preach with sound doctrine. To your remarks about the Trinity, there has never been 3 Gods, but 1 God who did it all in Heaven, on Earth and by His Resurrection. :)
