  • Doing absolutely nothing at all... Wish them well even... THAT, will drive them both nutso! Let them be and you move on to something worth your time in general. THey deserve each other... It will hurt like hell of course. But you never let them see you sweat! EVER!
  • Kicking both their asses. Though I would be happy because that would mean my best friend finally left her jobless lazy ass of a husband. Seriously, she's 5 months pregnant and he sits on his ass and she supports him...he hasn't had a job since before she got pregnant! So I couldn't kick her ass until January (that is when she is due) but I would definitely kill him.
  • Tell them both that they are lucky I have grown up. Twenty years ago, I would have kicked my EX best friends ass. And the boyfriend......my brother would have kicked his ass. BIG TIME!!
  • Start hanging out with his/her best friend. Otherwise just lose the two of them and get some new friends who won't mess around behind your back. Nobody deserves that.
  • What does "reacting" get you? I think one of the things maturity brings us older gals (I am 42) is the ability not to "react" as much to everything around us. Emotiveness doesn't really get anyone anywhere. It is a release and feels good, but then, the facts are still the facts when you get back. Love has moved on. We can't control how people love. We can't even control how we, ourselves love. If a reaction has to occur, I would suggest, taking an emotional break, internalizing what this all means to you, allowing yourself to heal and moving on to the next phase.
  • Spending time to get to know yourself. In between every relationship spending time to evaulate the last is always best.
  • Wishing them all the best in thier future. Two cheating scumbags deserve one another and remind them that they will never be able to trust one another due to the way they got together in the first place. Warn them both to never get a best friend incase one of them hops into bed with them and do the same. Then go get very drunk with my REAL mates.
  • wishing them both well and a happy everafter.
  • going and having a beer with my mates, and move on.
  • I don't know, really. I suppose I would have to reflect on the irony since my best friend is married...
  • congratulate them - their kids will be ugly
  • going out with my best friends and getting drunk and celebrate for escaping from a cheating no-good toerag!
  • Re-thinking the criteria I use to decide who is my best friend.
  • beat the fuck outta my friend and tell her i always knew she was a slut
  • Partying. It's the only solution. It sucks and I'd be pissed, but what're you going to do? Get away from both of them and celebrate being single again. *shrug*
  • Killing them both.
  • Moving on, and not speaking to either again!
  • Thanking god that I didn't waste more time on his worthless ass. Laugh at my ex friend's stupidity at dating a guy she knows is flighty and doesn't care about the women that he dates.
  • beating the girl her left you for with a baseball bat !!! then he will want you back cuz she will be soooo ugly lol
  • I like this guys approach. The video is long and scripted, but basically the guy gets dumped by his girlfriend for his boss, and as payback he sleeps with her mom. It's pretty funny.
  • Ending all ties with the both of them... That was no best friend if they would do that to you!!!
  • laughing at myself for not seeing this coming... then probably punching a hole in his face :/
  • Move on with your life. Be thankful that there are no children involved and cut off communication with them both. You don't have to outwardly show them how disgusted you are with them- oh, they will know- just make them wonder- besides, if you allow them to control your reactions, you allow them to control you!
  • By moving on with your life, finding new friends and a new significant other.
  • State two words to my "best friend": "Sloppy seconds." Then walk away laughing. :)
  • My initial reaction was "kill them both," but no. Honestly, I'd probably flip out on both of them. There would be much hysterical screaming and tears on my part. I'd like to be able to react more maturely and just cut ties with both of them, but...I know myself better than to think I'd be able to stay that calm.
  • knowing they deserve each other! Just relax, sit back and watch them make each other miserable. They are both a**eholes. Anyone who acts that way is just not worthy of having you in their lives. :-D
  • just F em both. it just happened to me. whenever you see your friend, make sure everytime he notices you a living hell. it works everytime and show the girl what your missin
  • sorry, this is a VERY common occurrance, you are not alone. i was hurt very deeply when this happened to me, but i did NOT take any form of revenge. He cheated on her, dumped her for another girl, and then found out she was pregnant! So really, i got the better end of the deal.
  • Vomiting.
  • i would murder them both. seriously.
  • Never speaking to either one again, and finding new, more honest, friends.
  • congratulate them!
  • You mean after I recover from the emotional devastation? Working on improving my subterfuge detection abilities as well as rebuilding my self esteem which such an event would certainly destroy.
  • Moving on, and convincing myself they are dead.
  • Well it depends on if my friend says yes. Then I would totally get a new hotter boyfriend, and make my ex jealous
