  • To save us from ourselves. Look at self and look at the world, we desperately are in need of the Saviour.
  • When sin entered the world, the world became broken. God never intended this world to be as it is. Once it was broken, He had two choices. He could wipe us all out and start over. Or He could try to fix as many of us as were willing to be fixed and then take us out of here. In mercy, He chose the latter. Christ came into this world to fulfill a long series of prophecies telling how God would save the world. The prophecies actually start in Genesis, in the story of Adam and Eve. They continue throughout the Bible until the point where Christ appears to fulfill them. If we believe in Christ and love Him, if we ask Him to, He comes to live within us. He writes God's laws on our hearts instead of on paper. They become so much a part of us that we grow more and more like Him: ore loving, more generous, more selfless. And when God looks at us, He no longer sees our sin, He sees Christ in us. We are in Christ and He is in us. We are made clean, whole, wholesome. We are fit to be taken into a new, clean, sinless world without taking the infection, the virus of sin and evil with us into the new clean world.
  • JESUS came down to earth because everyone had a god in those days....but the Jews wanted a god too.....so GOD answered their prayer and sent them JESUS. HE didn't come the way they wanted HIM to though. HE came into the world in a stable. With all the animals around HIM cause there was no room for anyone in the inn. Later in life as a grown adult HE rode into town on a donkey. He looked like a normal person. They couldn't receive HIM as the MESSIAH or as their KING because HE didn't fit their criteria. GOD sent the Jews a KING but they rejected HIM. GOD knew that all the sacrifices weren't doing it. HE wanted to make a way for all of us to be able to come to HIM with no in-between. HE wanted a personal relationship with each and everyone of us. So HE came in the flesh....as HIS SON...to be seen in the flesh and to spread the WORD of HIS love for us all. HE had HIS SON JESUS die on the cross to rip the veil between HIM and us.....so that we would be able to come to HIM on a one to one basis. HE so desires a relationship with us that HE sacrificed HIS SON so that whosoever believes in HIS SON can be saved....

  • The Bible says, "The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world." (John 4:14) and "The Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10)
  • He was on a mission?
  • To remind us of who we are, why we're here, and how to get home.
  • There is a war going on between God and Satan. Satan rules earth right now because Adam and Eve sold us out when they ate the fruit from the forbidden tree, and so Jesus was born to pay the price to Satan by his suffering on the cross so that we could have another chance to find god and have everlasting life. What higher price could a father pay than to have to watch is only begotten son suffer the way Jesus did and not stop it. Of course God could of stopped it and taken Jesus down from the cross anytime he wanted to but then the price wouldn't of been paid to Satan for us to have another chance. People always wonder what god looks like...he looks like us. We are very special to god because as it says in the bible that we ARE the only ones that are created in his image. Satan knows he's going to be thrown back into the pit but everyone one of us he is able to take down with him he knows is just another slap in god's face and that it hurts him. Satan loves hurting god.. God gave all people free will to protect us from anything getting inside of us without are permission and that even includes god. He has to be asked to come into your heart. He could force us but he doesn't want us that way. He wants you to come to him only thru your own free will. People are constantly arguing about if Jesus was who he said he was, but do you know any other person that has walked on this planet that never traveled further than fourty five miles from his own home but is world known even two thousand years later. If he was nobody why was such a big deal made of his birth and death. Our biggest holiday that we celebrate is his birth and even our time is set by his birth. He is the only human being that has risen from the dead and that is another holiday we celebrate called Easter.Does this sound like someone that wasn't who he claimed to be.

  • Jesus came to earth as the final and ultimate sacrifice. To die for the sins of mankind and to give eternal life for all who accept His sacrifice. God created earth and man perfect. But when Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s commands, He had to punish them. A judge who pardons law-breakers isn’t a righteous judge. Likewise, overlooking sin would make the holy God unjust. Death is God’s just consequence for sin. “For the wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Although God banished Adam and Eve from the garden, He didn’t leave them without hope of heaven. He promised He would send a sinless Sacrifice to take the punishment they deserved (Genesis 3:15). Until then, men would sacrifice innocent lambs, showing their repentance from sin and faith in the future Sacrifice from God who would bear their penalty. God reaffirmed His promise of the Sacrifice with men such as Abraham and Moses. Herein lies the beauty of God’s perfect plan: God Himself provided the only sacrifice (Jesus) who could atone for the sins of His people. God’s perfect Son fulfilled God’s perfect requirement of God’s perfect law. It is perfectly brilliant in its simplicity. “God made Him (Christ), who knew no sin, to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Remember, the holy God cannot let sin go unpunished. To bear our own sins would be to suffer God’s judgment in the flames of hell. Praise God, He kept His promise to send and sacrifice the perfect Lamb to bear the sins of those who trust in Him. Jesus had to die because He is the only one who can pay the penalty for our sins.
