  • Because there is no god.
  • because GOD is WRONG!!!!!
  • because it was written by men, flawed men, and not a god
  • Written by man, edited by man, interpreted by man, translated by man, printed by man. Wisdom may still be gained by reading it though.
  • because the word god is used so much in the bible because the translators thought they should make it easy to understand for all the people during that time. now we know more and are able to question the autority of the writers and the translators. the bible is not to be worshipped. it is meant to be just a handbook, a guide book to get one into a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. It is through prayer and a two way communication/conversation that one becomes a christian and learns to follow the advice and direction of the Holy Spirit. it is called walking in the spirit. walking in the footsteps of jesus. one spiritual walk. its a walk. it isnt a read.
  • most text books are full of inaccuracies but most people generally believe what is in them...it's all in what you choose to believe. The Bible is for believers OF the bible.
  • hehe, you figured it out! don't believe the stories they tell you in sunday school.
  • Even if it truly was the "word of God" written down by humans who heard His voice. Think about it nowadays, if someone claims to be talking to God, or the be the Son of God reborn, what do we do? We call him a cult leader, a nutjob. The guys that wrote the bible were most likely just that, nutjobs. They just got lucky when the small group that believed them gained lots of power and influence.
  • This must be proof that god is a female, otherwise why would god keep changing her mind all the time? :-)
  • That's EXACTLY what I say!
  • Because God's filters have flaws. - The Tao that can be spoken of is not the eternal Tao. The name that can be named is not the eternal name. The nameless is the beginning of heaven and earth. The name is the mother of the ten thousand things. Send your desires away and you will see the mystery. Be filled with desire and you will see only the manifestation. As these two come forth they differ in name. Yet at their source they are the same. This source is called a mystery. Darkness within darkness, the gateway to all mystery.
  • its not. it has no flaws, if God is the auther you would be a fool not to belive in it.
  • see you in hell.. oh thats right i wont be there.
  • God was an alcoholic in his early years. LET THE DRing BEGIN!!! lol
  • mis translations?
  • Bible? Word of God? Impossible! Jesus himself used the term "Word of God" in the Parable of the Sower (Luke 8:11) long before the New Testament came along, and I sincerely doubt that he was "sowing" out those old testeament scrolls either. This will explain what that Original Word of God was really all about. http://gospelenigma.com And I can assure you, it was not a book.
  • sorry if you dont want to know the truth.
  • No offence, but have you seen and proved the inaccuracies? People always come out with things like that and come out with things out of context, but do they actually know what they are talking about? IN the original texts, which have not been modified or translated by different interpretators, are they REALLY inaccuracies? You should get the Hebrew/Greek text, learn the language and see for yourself whether this Word which is precisou means for your own life.
  • I'm not a believer, but translating ancient texts and then translating them from mediaeval English is bound to throw up some inaccuracies I think,
  • Typo's crept in over the years. And changes in language, along with poor translations, caused misundertandings. There's really nothing wrong with it.
  • In this whole post I am yet to see an example of these alleged inaccuracies. I do know of a few minor copying errors, but none that really changes the meaning of the passages. Can I answer your question by requesting that you give me an example? (Just pick one or two for now, I'm not going to try and answer scores of your examples that you might paste from a website, but I'll agree to let you pick one or two and I'll try to clear it up a bit) (Also be sure to refer to the original bible. The closest in English imo is the King James Version. I have heard that someone made a version of the bible for bikers which portray all the people of the bible as bikers...While I have no problem with something like that used in the proper sense, obviously you cant expect that version to be defended by christians.)
  • What inaccuracies??
  • Because the bible is written by man for man.
  • Because it's really the word of man.
  • Works in mysterious ways.
  • Ever play the game "telephone" when you were a kid? Person 1 whispers something to person 2, who whispers it to person 3, etc., etc., and the last person says out loud what they heard and it's nothing like what person 1 originally said. And that's what's been going on for thousands of years with the Bible.
  • It's not only full of inaccuracies, it's also full of shit
  • God wasn't the editor?! ;-)
