No, it makes you the cause of the train wreck !!!
-
I do believe that birds of a feather flock together.
-
No, you are the conductor and should have control. You need to choose your train cars accordingly and navigate your engine properly and at the proper speed.
-
Depends. What are you hauling?
-
It makes you a trainwreckspotter.
-
You are not a train wreck unless you do the things that they do which make them train wrecks.
-
yep
-
Ya, but we love ya!
-
If you aren't now, you will be. I like to have friends that help me to become a better person.
-
no....but you may be attracted to the drama that comes with their problems. :)
-
Not necessarily.. If you recognize that they are train wrecks you probably have the sense to behave differently. I suspect that there are other reasons you choose to be friends with them. I have to tell you though, the older you get the wrecks get bigger and more serious. So chances are you will either start becoming like them or start distancing yourself. I found as I got older I didn't have patience for my dramatic friends anymore and moved on to form new friendships.
-
Not necessarily yet, but it is well known that the people you surround yourself with do have an effect on you.
-
Not necessarily. Maybe you're their maintenance shed! ;-)
-
What can I say, the quote is, "You are who you hang out with".
-
Only if you go along for the train ride WITH them. I am no longer a train wreck, so you can just hang out with me :)
-
LMFAO! What do you think? ;)
-
Maybe you are a conductor.
-
I fully believe in the expression, "If you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas" - Toxic people are a bad influence and inject you with their toxicity. That's the worst, most negative case in point for those you shouldn't be hanging out with at all. Your friends are all train wrecks? We're all train wrecks, so we can just all join the same club. As long as you maintain your individuality and sense of going forward... you are fine. If you can help your friends, then awesome. Clearly, they entered your life for a reason and clearly they mean something to you for a reason. Who can judge who is good for you and who is bad for you except for you, yourself? As soon as other people judge who you hang out with -- that's trouble. I say... it takes time to know the kinds of people you want in your life. The more you learn who you are and what you want, the sooner you can gravitate toward what makes sense to you. We gravitate toward people for a reason. The best we can do is ride the train that best suits us and try to avoid collision.

no, but you're probably used to more drama than you should be.
