Here in California, especially around the bay area, it is easy to feel like a stranger when you actually are pro-American and not a crackpot socialist.

Yes. I live in Vegas, but I'm not what you would call a "Vegas guy." I grew up in Colorado and I mainly moved here a few years ago to be with my now ex. That was a huge mistake i will ever make again. But also, I don't really go out a lot, mostly because I don't always have the money. I go to the casino sports books sometimes just to watch a few games and have a beer or two, so sometimes I get weird looks when a guy asks me what I have on the game and I say "nothing," and that I'm just there to watch the game. Most people here aren't just genuine sports fans like I am, so it's hard to just talk sports with a guy because all they talk about is stuff like, "over/under," and "money-lines." I don't bet much, so I have no idea what any of that shit means! And unless you're bringing in a minimum six-figure salary, the women here won't bother with you. They're weird. I don't know how often I see hot women with boobs bigger than my head with guys who look like all they do is watch Star Trek all day!
