u can know it by her actions, like calling u to c if u r ok, buying u some little gift, coming to visit u often etc.

have a friend watch as you walk by him... if he turns his head he finds you attractive. ask him to help you with something minor (minor meaning you want help, not need help) but inconvienient for him. if he helps chances are really good. or you could try the direct aproack and ask him out.
