  • Yep, we are. I make salad sandwiches and veggie sandwiches all the time. Our diet consists primarily of whole grains, veggies, fruits, nuts and beans..although we are not vegetarians, we eat much less meat in the summer. I feel sad when people say they don't like veggies..my feeling is that they've never tasted well-prepared vegetables..they've probably only ever had the ones that are cooked beyond repair..mushy, gray and tasteless! :) Happy Wednesday! :) ((hugs))
  • I have my favorites; Carrots, broccoli, cabbage, even cauliflower, (which my grandpappy said was just a cabbage with delusions of grandeur....(lol!). I like peas and beans in all varieties,... all the legumes,..very good protein. I do like artichokes, but, they are a bit expensive for an everyday thing... Tomatoes rule!

  • I love veggies! (I'm a vegetarian.) I also love grains. I could survive on quinoa salad with tomatoes, cilantro, beans, and lime juice. Or chickpea salad. Or eggplant. Or tomatoes. The list goes on and on.

  • I'd say my level of veggiephilia is close to your's, little mist. :) I love salads and I usually finish my wife's when we eat out, oink! :p My favorite dish would be a big bowl of organic whole grain brown rice with loads of broccoli, onions, tomatoes (which usually serve as veggies in my culinary world ;)), celery, carrots, and red curry sauce. Unfortunately I'm not the world's most motivated chef and I have yet to find any Asian place that has such a dish.

  • I love vegetables, especially asparagus and pickles. (Not those sweetened ones though.) I'll eat just about any kind, made in whatever way, from raw onions to whatever servings of potato that exist. Turnips, radish, garlic and beats are awesome too. I stay away from corn though, I really don't like that, (But I do completely love those cute mini corns.) and I prefer dark canned peas over those frozen bright green ones.
