There is no "Best" song, there are alot of very good songs, but they're all good in their own ways, there's no way to pick a "Best". But if I had to pick candidates for the best song ever written, I would narrow it down to the following... -Visions of Johanna, by Bob Dylan. -Nigthswimming, by R.E.M. -London Calling, by The Clash. -Outside of Town, by Geraldine Fibbers. -Texarkana, by R.E.M. Any one of those would take the title easily in my opinion, but my opinion isn't everyone's opinion. So there's no real way to name any one song as "The Best".
