  • The city I lived in had a midnight curfew for people under 18. If the cops caught you out after that they assumed you were doing something wrong.
  • My Mom was pretty cool about that actually. As long as she knew when I was getting home, it was cool with her. And if I called her and asked to hang out for another hour or two she was usually cool with that too.
  • I think I had it pretty good and was allowed to stay out later than most of my friends. As long as I was home by 11 PM (before my parents went to bed) all was well. I thought it was a good rule. If a movie was going to run late, I would call home to see if I could be home a little later.
  • I wasn't allowed to leave my house. Period. Save, of course, for school and church. No, I didn't do anything to deserve 20 years of house arrest.
  • I'd normally have to be around for dinner or dark which ever came first. And if I was going out, I'd have to be over soon after the movie was over or by about 10PM. Occasionally for special events like a seminar or something, I'd gt to come home however long it took me. They were flexible.
  • I didn't have to come home at all,and I'm sure they wished I didn't.
  • When the street lights went on we had to be in the front yard.We could have friends but we needed to be near. And then no later then 11pm.
  • I don't remember having one until my friends and I were old enough to drive. I guess until that time I was always with someone else's parents. Once I was driving, my curfew was 1 am.
  • If I wasn't grounded I would have to be home by 10. But I never made in on time, there for I was grounded.
  • On school nights I had to be in BED at 9. I could go on a date on a Friday or Saturday night but only one night per week. And I had to be home by midnight.
  • 11 PM was bedtime.
  • The car had to be home by midnight. I didn't have to be home at any specific time. My parents didn't wait up. They trusted me. I didn't cause much trouble.
  • Up until i was working it was 9pm, after i was working it was 10pm. I left home at 17yrs old.
  • i never had a curfew :D
  • well early teens i had to be home by 10 at the latest. Now im 17 and i gotta be home by 12
  • 13-14, Ten o'clock. 15-17, midnight. 18-19, didn't have one.
  • I didnt really have one, my mum wassnt well, so i had a bit of a free rein
  • ok let me just tell you just how ridiculous my parents were. i was a senior in highschool and still had to be in by 10 on weeknights and midnight on weekends. lets just say when i went to college i went buck wild for about a week. haha. then i realized that because i was so used to going to bed early and having to get up early there was really no point in being out much later than 10. now on weekends, id be out till 3 or 4 in the morning just because i could. when i came back home for breaks and stuff, my parents were a little more leniant and let me stay out till whenever i wanted. but the part that really sucks is that i have a sister who is only a year younger and she didnt have a curfew on weekends and she could be in by midnight on weekdays. needless to say im the better child :D
  • not allowed out on school nights and on the weekends it was 10:00 until i was 15 then i was 10:00 on school nights and 12:00 on weekends... i always broke it tho
  • unless I had permission to be out late, had to be in by the time the street lights came on.
  • unless i had discussed staying out later or stayin with at friend it was 10 on the week nights and 12 on the weekends.
  • Midnight on non-school days.
  • Um, I think eleven or twelve. But I always came home later than that.
  • Was never allowed out, so count your blessings little man. Cheers
  • Right after school, if I wasn't back with the rest of the kids on the block, out came my mother looking for me, belt in hand
  • I didn't have a cerfew but if I planned on being out later than 10:00 I had to call my parents and tell them where I was. So they either wanted to see me or hear the phone ring at 10:00. Most of the time I just came home before 10:00.
  • I don't have a curfew, but I do come home around 11, not to late.
  • I am a teenager and I got to be home 11 or 12
  • I didn't have a curfew. I had to let my parents know where I was at, however. My mom would stay up until I got home, so I rarely stayed out too late. She expected me to come down to her bedroom and report on where I had been and what I did. They trusted me greatly. For the most part, I never violated that trust. ;)
  • when i was a freshman my curfew was 12 o clock sharp. now that im in 10th grade i have a 12:30 curfew, some times i can push it a little later if i need to drop of a friend off at home if were were out parting, when im a junior i already know i will have a 1 o clock or later curfew. and when i am a senior, pshhh my mother wont control me! i turn 18 early in the year!
  • Like 10:00 but my brothers who are just 1 and 2 years older than me could stay out till midnight!! Mom and dad always said it was different for boys! I never understood why!!!!
  • Mom just wanted to know a plan, and where I was in case of an emergency, so I had a lot of slack. She only shortened the leash if I screwed up, so I didn't (much)
  • I never really had a curfew, (as long as I gave some idea as to where I was going). But, no matter what, Mom always waited up on me, and always asked if I had eaten, (and if not, she would make me eggs, bacon and toast). For some reason, she loved me, LoL!
  • Before 16 10:00. 16 & after 11:00.
  • 10:00pn on week nights and 12:00 on weekends If I had no school on the week day it was 12:00!
  • My curfew changes depending on the sitution Sometimes I have to be home before dark Other times its home before 11
  • I grew up in a city that had a 9pm curfew (unless accompanied by an adult) for those under 16. My bedtime during my youth, whether school was in session or not, was 8pm until my 16th birthday. Then my mom raised it to 9pm. It's laughable by todays standards for sure, but it kept me out of trouble.
  • When i was 16, 10pm on week days, 12pm weekends, but i did pretty much what i wanted being a teenager as im sure most do!!!!
  • I had no curfew. My parents expected me home for evening meal, but I was allowed to make my own hours after that. I lived in the suburbs, but went to school in New York City, so I spent lots of time there. Funny thing though, I almost NEVER stayed out after 10. My parents knew that "no fight = No fun."
