  • As far as I know people marry in order to have children, otherwise I see no point in marriage. The Holy Catholic Church does not approve a couple to marry without the purpose of procreation. Look in the Codex Iudex Canonici c.1055 §1
  • No. I believe it is their choice to make.
  • Gosh no.
  • I dont have kids, don't want kids and I wish a lot of people out there felt the same...the world is too populated and every major problem we have in the world is because of overpopulation. I don't know if it is a sin, I don't care because I don't believe in sin. But I know it would be better for the world if we all took a break making rugrats
    • Mircat
You need to speak to the Duggar clan and their prolific offspring.
  • Back when the earth was young up through the Bible Days it was important to have children. They were necessary to take care of the family farm and for inheritances. This is no longer the case. Should a couple decide to not have children it is there business and not a sin in any way.
  • A sin is an immoral act, a transgression against divine law. I have yet to read any commandments stating that we must procreate. Adam and Eve were told to “be fruitful and fill the earth” (Gen 1:28), but that was directed at them personally. Jesus told us to love God and love your neighbors as yourself (Mat22:37-40). The 10 commandments spoken to Moses did not mention procreation (Exo 20).
  • Why do you care what other people think? Whose business is it why you are having sex? Do you think you should announce at a dinner party, "We plan on humping after dinner but its okay we want kids." You keep your sex life private and stop soliciting opinions about it. If you live your life by that much restriction and what all is sinful and not sinful then you shouldnt be having sex in the first place because you didnt say "married" couple.
