  • I do not know of anybody that would have any faith in that miracle coming true.
  • That was the original plan in the late 1940's - however it was rejected by the Arab world and they openly declared a genocidal war against the Jews. I don't think this is going to happen. However, there probably is such a group. When it comes to Israel almost everyone has an opinion. ----- EDIT in response to the comment below: Was the 1948 war attempted Genocide? Background: In addition to creating the SS Handzar division, Hajj Amin also created in Bosnia the SS Freiwilligen-BH-Gebirgs-Division. The French newspaper Le Monde quotes from a speech Hajj Amin gave to his assembled troops: “‘You must be the example and beacon in the fight against the common enemies of National-Socialism [Nazism] and Islam.’ November 1943. In the heart of Bosnia, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al Husseini finishes his speech, and then slowly reviews the troops of the SS Freiwilligen-BH-Gebirgs-Division, the volunteers of the mountain division in Bosnia-Herzegovina.” Reference Le Monde, November 15, 1993, Idees, 1880 words, DATE Il y a cinquante ans Une division SS islamiste en Bosnie, YVES-MARC AJCHENBAUM, FRENCH; FRANCAISE [translation, Francisco Gil-White] This proud Nazi, Hajj Amin, who perceived a great affinity between the ideologies of Nazism and Islam, also carried out diplomacy to make sure that 400,000 Hungarian Jews were taken to the death camps and killed. Murder the Jews! Murder them all!” - Hajj Amin, who had once again ensured that ‘Palestinian movement’ became synonymous with his own ideology and leadership, issued a fatwa (legal Islamic pronouncement) to murder all Jews. Reference Sachar, H. 1982. A history of Israel: From the rise of Zionism to our time. New York: Knopf. (p.333) “The representative of the Jewish Agency told us yesterday that they were not the attackers, that the Arabs had begun the fighting. We did not deny this. We told the whole world that we were going to fight.” - Jamal Husseini, spokesperson for Hajj Amin’s Arab Higher Committee, straightforwardly and proudly admitted that this was a war of aggression to the UN Security Council in April 1948. Reference Security Council Official Records, S/Agenda/58, (April 16, 1948), p. 19 Also note that the USA slapped an arms embargo on the region when it was well known that the Arabs were well equipped and Russia was sending them arms. In essence this was an open call for genocide, and it is a miracle we are alive. Reference: "Then, in 1948, as the Israeli Jews were fighting for their lives in their War of Independence, fending off a combined Arab attack that had for explicitly avowed purpose the extermination of the Jewish people, the United States slapped an arms embargo against the Israeli Jews, and declared its opposition to the creation of the State of Israel (below). Meanwhile, Britain sent many captured Nazi officers to lead the Arab armies. But the US and Britain were not opposed to restoring Germany -- the country that had carried out the Final Solution against the European Jews -- to health. This they strongly endorsed, in what became the famous Marshall Plan." http://www.hirhome.com/israel/hirally.htm#1947 ----- I am going to stop now before this gets too much; the question was only about Jerusalem. I hope you found this information useful. :)
