  • Yes, any rational and open-minded person believes in Jesus. Now, whether they believe He is the Son of God, a teacher, a prophet or just a regular man who walked the Earth 2000 years ago is highly debated among many religions. One thing all religions can agree with: The Encyclopaedia Britannica supports that Jesus is a religious leader.

ReiSan, you are a broken record. I told you various times that 95% of the world are not Christians. The Bible talks about this new age, were the majority will depart from the faith. it is rare if you come across biblical Christians nowadays. Going to your claims that Jesus never existed, do you have any records to support your claims?

Any member of any religion can use Pascal's Wager as you do. If you are wrong, Amaterasu will send you to Yomi, Zeus will send you to Tartarus, Odin will send you to Niflheim, etc. To be safe by Pascal's Wager, you must worship every god men have invented. There is no more evidence for Hell than for Yomi, Tartarus, etc. !
    • Jenny_Rizzo
ReiSan, quote: "There is no more evidence for Hell than for Yomi, Tartarus, etc. !" Hell is not what the majority of people think, hell is the common grave by the Hebrew word Sheol. The lake of fire in which the Bible talks about is the Earth's core. Psalm 63:9 "But those who seek to destroy my life shall go down into the depths of the Earth;" Revelation 21:8 "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." Lava is as real as you see it.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
ReiSan, quote: "Any member of any religion can use Pascal's Wager as you do." Actually they can't, now that you can't prove anything with those "other books." If you could, I am sure you would share their teachings with actual reference so we can compare all religious books. Instead, your remarks are illogical.
    • Venus1485
Yes, any member of any religion can use Pascal's Wager. I can hardly believe how illogical Jenny is. No sacred book is any more real that all of the many others. Jenny can't prove anything just by reciting the Bible. That is circular reasoning. It's quite illogical. Jenny casually dismisses all other sacred books with no proof. Let her prove all of the others are false. There is no more evidence for God than there is for Zeus, Odin, Jove, etc., and there's indeed no more proof of Hell than Niflheim, Tartarus, etc. Jenny rushes to judgement and has no logical arguments.
    • Venus1485
Any rational person questions the existence of Jesus. Encyclopedia Britannica isn't a holy book. Appeal to authority is illogical. Jenny has no logic or truth or decency, since she insults people and lies terribly about them. She disgraces her beliefs.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, the Bible is the strictest book when it speaks of the consequences of sin. No other religious book is close. How is it Pascal's Wager when the Bible describes the lake of fire in the logical view? Are you also going to claim there is no such thing as the Earth's core?
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, quote: "Encyclopedia Britannica isn't a holy book." Who said it was a Holy book? I used it in my answer to prove the reliability and the reputation which has long been the "most respected" of all of the general encyclopedias.
    • Venus1485
Who cares which book is strict. That doesn't prove a thing. The Bibl is too strict to make everyone a sinne and make him feel guilty about it and pay churches to relieve the guilt and fear hey wantonly arouse to swindle people. How on earth did earth's core get involved? Jenny is extremely illogical and has no valid arguments. She's desperate to find something so she mentions earth's core and strict books.. That's just pointless. If it's wrong and illogical in some parts, it doesn't matter about its reputation. You appeal to its authority and admit it here. That is illogical. You also cherry pick that's another logical fallacy. You have no Logic or Truth. You blindly believe bad fiction is true.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, quote: "The Bibl is too strict to make everyone a sinne and make him feel guilty about it and pay churches to relieve the guilt and fear hey wantonly arouse to swindle people. How on earth did earth's core get involved?" You are misinformed. A true church does not demand money. 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 "The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." Quote: "You have no Logic or Truth. You blindly believe bad fiction is true." I just mentioned some biblical logic and truth.

    • ReiSan
Jenny_Riz never gives any evidence. There is no genuine evidence that Jesus ever existed. There are strong arguments against his existence however.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
ReiSan, I gave you plenty of evidence by the credibility of Flavius Josephus. Which it is no surprise why billions of people around the world believe in Jesus. Whether other religions teach Jesus is a prophet, a teacher or a good man as Richard Dawkins mentioned in his interview, it doesn't doubt His existence.
    • Venus1485
The passages about Jesus in Josephus are much later forgeries by Christian copyists. I knew that even when I was a Christian. The most educated and objective Christians know the passages in Josephus' writings are clumsy forgeries. Origen and other early Christains were not aware of any such passages by Josephus. Jenny depends upon this clumsy forgery as evidence. she's monumentally illogical. Therre are 2.2 billion Christians in 7.6 billion world population. Appeal to popularity is illogical. Jenny has only illogical arguments, bad fiction of the Bible, silly lies and vile insults to offer in support of her na?ve beliefs.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus 1485, the passages could not have been forged when the Old Testament mentioned how crucifixions would take place during the time of Jesus. Isaiah 53:5 "But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed."
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Quote: "Therre are 2.2 billion Christians in 7.6 billion world population. Appeal to popularity is illogical." To further add to the population, there would be more Christians in Northern Africa and in the middle-east if Islam did not convert its members with the sword.
    • Venus1485
It is comical to claim these passages couldn't have ben forged when they obviously were forged much later. Objective Christians know the passage about Jesus in Josephus' history is a clumsy forgery. Early Christian writers who lived 200-300 years after Josephus knew his works well and commented and cited them, but none knew he wrote about Jesus at all. Your arguments are simply meaningless. You just display passionate desire to believe this crude fiction. Adding imaginary Christians in Africa and the Middle east is insane. Christains and Muslims both used swords and fire for conversions. Ha ha h ha, you're so funny with your silly arguments.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, quote: "they obviously were forged much later." You have no proof to claim the passages were forged. Why would would they be forged and who in particular forged them? Do you have any records to support your claims?
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, quote: "Christians in Africa and the Middle east is insane. Christains and Muslims both used swords and fire for conversions." Then those Africans you speak of are not true Christians. Obviously they don't "brush up" their bible's to know what Jesus demands.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, quote: "Christains and Muslims both used swords and fire for conversions." I couldn't agree more that Muslims used swords then, and they still use swords now. As for the so-called Christians who used swords to kill, they were Pagans.

    • Jenny The Great ⭐
ReiSan, you are incorrect. What makes you think there are 71% of non-believers in the world?
    • ReiSan
Some surveys show the numbers of Christians and non-Christians. 71% of the people of the world have other religions or are unbelievers in any religion. Most Japanese practice Kami no Michi. India has Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. Arabia is Muslim. Communist nations ar3e atheistic. My figures are3e accurate.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
ReiSan, those surveys are a fraud. There are 2.4 billion Christians worldwide. Do a research. Catholics, Baptists and Pentecostals add up the most part of believers in Christianity. Although this is not the case. I don't agree there is that many Christians. The Bible determines true Christians. There are no more than 30 million Christians in the world if you ask me. This is the SDA church and other non-denominational Christians who live by the teachings of the Bible: https://www.adventist.org/en/ To speak of "actual figures," the biblical estimate is 100% accurate. Matthew 22:14 "For many are called, but few are chosen."
    • Venus1485
I see that 2.2 of 7.6 billion people in the world are classified as Christians. Do the math on that, and see that 71.05% are not Christians. Jenny's ideas are illogical and untrue, so who cares how many Christians she recognizes? The Bible is childish fantasy.
    • Vittorio 'Sam' Manunta-Lowell
Let's see, ..... if a friend promises something for you, do you trust him? (That's a good explanation)
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, it is official, there are 2.4 billion Christians in the world. Christians remain the largest religious group in the world, making up nearly a third 40% of Earth's 7.6 billion people. As for classification, it is what it is. That's why Catholics, Baptists and Pentecostals are the leading Christian denominations in the world.
    • Venus1485
The figures I see are 2.2 billion Christains in 7.6 billion people. Not even 30% are Christian, and you lie badly in saying it's 40%. You lie constantly.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, are you blind? I am not even counting the non-denominational Christians worldwide to make it a 40%. In many countries of the middle-east, preaching the Gospel is against the law. Still, they find a way to preach. Christians continue to grow rapidly.
  • No, 99.54% of the people of Japan where I was born do not believe in Jesus. 71% of the people of the world do not believe in him. There is no convincing evidence that such a man existed, but there is strong evidence that he did not exist.
    • we are dough 68
    • Jenny The Great ⭐
ReiSan, the world does not revolve on the small island of Japan. Get your facts straight. How many times do I have to ask if you can provide this evidence that Jesus never existed? Do share with everyone. We would like to know if there were a change of plans after the evidence of His existence was even confirmed by Richard Dawkins, a leading atheist from the atheist foundation.
    • ReiSan
You shift the burden of proof. It is your task to prove Jesus existed. Richard Dawkins is wrong if he actually said Jesus existed. I doubt that he did.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
ReiSan, not exactly. This is only to prove that you are against Richard Dawkins who is an atheist spokesman: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhflPR-ck0M&t=93s Since you are closed-minded with Christians, then learn it from your master. *Facepalm*
    • Venus1485
Appeal to authority is illogical. If Richard Dawkins actually said Jesus existed, he's wrong. Atheists are individuals. We don't need any spokesmen, and any man can be wrong. I've given strong arguments against Jesus' existence in some answers on this forum and others. Jenny is a barbaric person and a hypocrite who ignores some Bible rues that are inconvenient. I was a Christian most of my life, but I learned I had been wrong. When I was a Christian, I scolded such hypocrites as Jenny.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus 1485, quote: "Atheists are individuals. We don't need any spokesmen, and any man can be wrong." Yet, you have no evidence to disprove Richard Dawkins. Learn it from the pros. Quote: "When I was a Christian, I scolded such hypocrites as Jenny." Calling people names is mud throwing, There is nothing structural in that remark.
    • Venus1485
If Richard Dawkins really said Jesus existed, he has no evidence. The burden of logical proof is upon those people who claim Jesus existed. You constantly sling mud and then don't want others to do the same thing. You're a vile hypocrite. You ignore Jesus's Golden Rule, the 10 Commandments, etc. If God existed, he's trike you down.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, quote: "If Richard Dawkins really said Jesus existed, he has no evidence." He is simply going by the credibility of Flavius Josephus who was a well-known trusted historian in the world. To deny Josephus is to deny the historical records of all US presidents.
  • You betcha but more than believe. Knowing is better. I have been with Jesus but only once. Yogananda had many many conversations with Jesus. Jesus was the manifestation of the absolute truth. He demonstrated to us that We are not the physical body but spiritual beings.
    • ReiSan
      Spirits and gods are fantasy.
  • Yes,Jesus is the "MAN'.
  • It really isn't a belief in Jesus Christ but what He did for us. He gave us freedom, for those whom believe, from the old law. For without belief in Jesus Christ you are still under the old law that no person can live up to. Paul said in Romans 10:4, For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. To fail to believe in Jesus Christ is to say His death on the cross was for nothing and that He was a lair. So yes, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt I do believe in Jesus Christ.
    • ReiSan
Most of the world is not Christian. The Bible is merely fiction. His death is fantasy, as is his life.
    • Thinker
The Bible is 66 books by 40 authors and we are only now learning it is an integrated message system from outside our time domain. These are the words of probably the most world renowned scientific Bible teacher Chuck Missler. khouse.org
    • Venus1485
The Bible is full of nonsense. It's pitifully ignorant of science, has myriad dumb contradictions and has an absurd basic tale that makes God clumsy and stupid. Chuck Missler is nuts if he makes such ridiculous claims as you say,
  • Faith goes a long way!
    • ReiSan
Faith has no evidence, so it is misplaced.
    • Vittorio 'Sam' Manunta-Lowell
You sound just like the Apostle Thomas!
  • No, 99.54% of the people in Japan do not believe in Jesus Christ! There is no firm evidence that he ever lived.
    • Thinker
Relsan, you have a lot to learn. someday you will bow before the Lord God and give account for yourself. Then what will you say?
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Thinker, ReiSan is a broken record, He or she repeats the same folly after evidence is given. Not only that, he or she claims to be an atheist, and then calls Richard Dawkins a liar lol, ReiSan is all confused.
    • Venus1485
I can hardly believe how irrational Jenny and Thinker are. Thinker will bow before Zeus some day. Pascal's Wager is illogical, Thinker. No real evidence for God has been given by Jenny. Atheists don't have to agree with Richard Dawkins. We have no priests. Appeal to authority is illogical, so if Richard Dawkins utters nonsense, I call him down on it. Jenny is the real broken record. She neve has any evidence. Her arguments are all bad and often insulting. She disgraces her beliefs with such hypocrisy. Read the Bible about do unto others, bearing fale witness, etc.!!!
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, you should be realistic. In the real world, nobody cares about Zeus. You can't back up anything you say with the Greek gods. I can back up my claims with the Bible. Quote: "Atheists don't have to agree with Richard Dawkins." Then you are stuck in your own little world, because I would rather get an opinion from the experts in Atheism. Therefore, you are all confused.
  • Jesus lives today and I am glad I asked Him in!
  • In the Bible it says every knee will bow. Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.
    • Venus1485
That's another lie in the Bible.
    • Rick Myres
      OK. . . .
  • Yes, I believe Jesus brought a friend into my life who can now help me with a dropped class problem. He seems to be able to do a lot. It has something to do with that big red S on his chest. (Superman symbol)
  • To answer this question once again: absolutely!
    • Rick Myres
I do hope and pray that ReiSan will accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
    • Rick Myres
You are right, but God can change them. -:)
  • NO, I don't think he ever existed. I was a Christian most of my life, but I read things that changed my mind. There's no real evidence he existed. No one at all mentions him when he was supposed to live. Every writer near him would mention such a man if he did exist. Many accounts of him are much later forged additions by Christian copyists. The Bible has many major contradictions about him and exhibits an evolution in the basic story of him. This is what we can expect when a fictional character is invented and many writers write as they like without consulting other writings. There was a similar situation about King Arthur and Robin Hood. Sir Thomas Malory took many tales of King Arthur and developed a consistent tale about him, but the Roman bishops who created the Bible under Constantine's orders were less skillful. They knw there are contradictions in the Bible and depended upon priests to excuse them.
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Quote: "NO, I don't think he ever existed. I was a Christian most of my life, but I read things that changed my mind." You have no idea what exactly is a Christian. This is the typical atheist rant of claiming you were a Christian before. If you really were a Christian, you would have known that the Bible is without a contradiction. Give me some biblical passages where you see these so-called contradictions, and we'll go over them one by one.
    • Rick Myres
You can't lose what you did not have in the first place.
    • Venus1485
Jenny, you wantonly violate many Bible rules, so you aren't a Christian. I know much more about everything than you do. Anyone who claims the Bible has no contradictions is blind and dumb. There are many obvious dumb contradictions in it. I don't want to hear a amateur apologist. Genesis 1 and 2 have contradictory creation myths to begin the Bible. Matthew and Luke give contradictory dates for Jesus' birth and for Joseph's ancestry. Both God and the Devil are blamed or David's census. There are hundreds. more. You can't excuse even one, let alone hundreds. Rick, why do you lie? People on Yahoo Answers know I was a Christian, and my friends know it. I was reared to be a Christians, and it wasn't easy to overcome that indoctrination. Claiming I was always an atheist is another vile lie Jenny loves o tell. If she talks like this in person, someone will kill her.
    • Rick Myres
Venus1485 I posted scripture and you call it a lie? Or was it when I said you can't lose what you did not have? Lol -:)
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, quote: "Genesis 1 and 2 have contradictory creation myths to begin the Bible." Yet, you couldn't provide a specific passage. Quote: "Matthew and Luke give contradictory dates for Jesus' birth and for Joseph's ancestry." That also depends on which Bible version you are reading. Quote: "Both God and the Devil are blamed or David's census." Once again, chapter and verse please!
    • Jenny_Rizzo
Venus1485, Quote: "Anyone who claims the Bible has no contradictions is blind and dumb." Actually, your biblical knowledge is all contradicted. I am only addressing your remarks in regards to religious subjects. 1 Peter 3:15 "But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord, always ready for a defense to everyone asking you an account concerning the hope in you; yet with gentleness and fear," BTW, I don't claim to be perfect, so stop complaining. :D
