1. When you can't understand the person on the other end and vice versa 2. When the people in the car with you keep changing their orders.

#1 Not being able to understand a single word the guy who takes the order is saying. I don't know if took my order for a hamburger, a Honda, or a hammock when he says it back to me. #2 Those dreaded words, "Pull ahead please, someone will bring your order to you." Yeah--when?

when they tell you they dont have your order ready, would you mind pulling in the parking lot to wait for it.

When they have only given part of the order then you either have to then park the car or get back on the drive thru queue

I couldn't tell ya the last time I had drive-thru food. I always hated it when I said "no onions" and sure enough my sandwich is loaded with them. Little fuckers!

When I was little, my dad backed up to the speaker so my sister and I could order from the passenger side and they told us to leave :( .. that was annoying.

I guess when they get the order wrong. However, it IS a drive thru, and these people are more than likely teenagers making minimum wage. I just take it all with a grain of salt!

When you're giving you order and getting no feedback, acknowledgement to confirm that they are listening AND have heard you and that they haven't gone on their tea break. So you lean over closer to the speaker and call "helloooo? Did you get my order? " and then they get all hissy back as if you're trying to be a smartass. And if you have really pissed them off, they'll make sure your coke cups are overfull and forget to give you drink straws or any napkins. Annoying & messy. But diabolically clever - your order is as you ordered. So you've got no come back. And they know if you're going through the Drive Thru, you're hardly likely to park and come in store just for two lousy straws.

When the people in front can't make up their mind what they want and keep asking the attendant to explain it to them, over...and over...again.

people constantly switching from drive to park everytime they move an inch! the reverse lights flicker drives me MAD! and people who bounce on the brakes making the brake lights flicker. Or thugs with the 'boom boom' in the trunk who dont know crap about crap "pull up your pants Kid, and get the hell out of my way. Ive got a happy meal waitin on me!"

When there is a car in front of you that drives into the drive thru Q's up with no intention of actually purchasing anything ! OH THIS DOES MY HEAD IN!

I've gone through many drive-throughs and don't recall ever being annoyed about anything..I was always hungry and looking forward to getting and eating the food..so that is what I focused on! Happy Friday! :)

One time we went to a new Mcdonals with a 2 drive thru thing-it had 2 lines to the order speaker things but everyone had to get into 1 line after they order to go to the windows which did no good because people were getting so confused, Mcdonalds was giving the wrong orders to people, the double order thing only made it worst, not better! Plus we sat there for 25 minutes and ended up getting the wrong order but luckily it was enough for who all was in the car and I guess fine because it was pretty good too. We couldnt go in there and get it fixed becasue we were already late going to a baby shower, plus after we left there from sitting so long in the drive thru, we had to go get gas! That made me so mad and I will NEVER go through one of those double drive thru things again! Another time, we went to BK and they told us to pull up so they could make us some tea, they said it would be about 7 minutes, well about 10-15 minutes went by and we reversed when there were no cars comeing to the window and she said "Oh Im sorry I forgot to make the tea!" We already got our food the first time to the window and they wouldnt even take it back so that we could get new hot food!?!

My husband...here is a short example of his orders... McD's: I want that chicken sandwich but w/o mayo, fries w/o salt, a cheesburger but only half a slice of chees and w/o pickles and can I please get some BigMac sauce on the side? Oh and also some honey mustard! Then I'd like the ceasar salad but can I have two pouches of dressing cause one aint enough. And a diet coke NO ICE though! Oh and as a matter of fact make that two chicken sandwiches but one with mayo but w/o tomatoes...Now sweetheart what do you want? Aaaaarrrrrg I cannot go through a drive through with him it drives me nuts! Because on top of everything his special orders always take long and we have to wait for the food to be freshly prepared and then the person on the other end always gets SOMETHING wrong and we HAVE TO go back!

Usually, I'm not annoyed by anything going on at the drive through, but one time, I was getting off of work late, went to a fast food restaurant to get some food, and had to wait 30 minutes for an order of burgers and fries to come out. Seriously! Did they have to go kill the cow and grind the meat? But that's the only time I was really annoyed.

When you're trying to recite your order and after every item the intrupt you and say "large diet coke, will there be anything else?". YES, YOU JIMBOB, IF YOU'D SHUT UP AND QUIT INTERRUPTING ME I CAN GIVE YOU THOSE ITEMS. sigh...I feel better now. Thank you...

Let's see...when I have to sit there for 5 minutes before they even acknowlege me, then I have to wait another 10 minutes for my order to be filled and it's messed up when I do get it, and then they don't even aplogize!!! Yeah...that get's under my skin just a little bit.
