  • Try this. Coat them well in flour, and brown them in about two tablespoons of oil and place them in a baking dish. Put them in oven at about 225 degrees F. Boil and mash potatoes. While potatoes are cooking, place two tablespoons of butter in fry pan then cooked meat and loosen up the sticky brown pieces off the bottom of pan. Add three tablespoons of flour, pinch of salt and pepper (I add a pinch of garlic). Work it all together and cook a couple of minutes, on medium heat adding two cups of water (makes the gravy).
