  • No. It's the person being healed who has the power but they didn't know it.
  • No. Faith healers are the worst kind of charlatan.
  • yes some people genuinely do have a gift to heal. But as in all walks of life there are fakes about too.
  • I think there are people who can heal, but they are not setting up tents taking money from people.
  • I don't believe people can heal anyone, however i Do believe that God can use people to heal.
  • Only the ones who get nothing out of it other then knowing they helped someone. The rest, the ones who get fame and money, are all fake.
  • Not really
  • NO they dont it's all a big kon to make money if your ill you should go and see a docter.
  • I never did, but this question, oddly enough, is asked two weeks after I heard, from a woman I know to be very truthful, that she had been cured by a person's healing energy. She had suffered from back problems for years, and conventional medicine had not helped. Her evidence is at least a good reason for me to keep an open mind toward the possibility.
  • No, people cannot 'cure' other people miraculously. Even doctors don't cure people, they facilitate people to heal themselves. I beleive that doctors aren't even allowed to claim to heal anyone, it's not legal to. So I doubt that anyone who claims to wold be able to stand up on court if the person got checked out before and afterwards.
  • Yes. But not very often those who make the loudest noise. I've seen people truly healed, but God chooses who that will be.
  • Yes, I do believe.
  • no, but Jesus Christ can and does. have a personal relationship with him and you can forget the faith healer. healing is not based on faith. the more faith i have, the healthier i'll be is nonsense. but if you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, no matter what happens in life, everything will be o.k.
  • no not at all. If there truly is any kind of healing (which I doubt) I would attribute it to the power of the mind and the desire to be healed by the sick person, not the power of the person doing the "healing". We have barely even scratched the surface on what the human mind can do, there have been instances where a person can make themselves sick, make blisters appear on the skin, do all kinds of things with their minds...but for a man to heal someone with "powers" I don't believe it.
  • No, all they do is make you feel like everything is going to be better, and when you feel like everything is gonna be better, it usually is. Don't go to them, instead, just have a positive attitude and be grateful for what you have.
  • No. They are scam artists and their followers become complicit in the deceit.
  • They have no power other than that of suggestion. The placebo effect can actually help a sick person. But no, they have no actual healing abilities.
  • No. Only God can heal when modern medicine falls short.
  • i believe they have the power of impression
  • i believe they have the power to heal their bank accounts.
  • Yes I do: All around you, and throughout the entire universe, circulates the life energy. It exists not only as an energy field around every living thing, but also circulates through the earth, through the atmosphere around us, and in nature. The flow of this energy connects everything that exists, and you, as a living being, are taking in this life energy at every moment. You are always drawing this life energy into your own energy field, and it is this life energy that supports your life, as well as the life of all you seek to heal. In order to conduct a greater measure of this energy into your patient, for the purposes of performing healing work upon them, you must first learn to bring a greater measure of the energy into your own energy field.
  • Yes some have. Read "Autobiography of a yogi" by swami yogananda for his experiences with mystiqs.
  • Nope. Faith healers are like fools gold, shiny, looks good, but phony. Todd Bentley is a perfect example of that.
  • yer but they dont tell you how they do it!!
  • i believe they have mysterious powers of deception
  • Sure, but it's not the healer, it's YOUR FAITH!
  • No I don't believe they have much power to heal. They can not rely on strictly faith heal.
  • I know they do as I had a GF who was trminal with liver cancer and it was completly gone after we left Earnest Angley after that I knew it was true and took several more terminal people out to see him and they were also cured by God their
  • It's a God-given power, but yes. Sometimes they do.
  • No faith healer has every been proven to have healing powers. On the other hand, plenty of faith healers have been exposed as frauds, just like Peter Popoff was.
  • there are many dedicated and hardworking holistic therapists, many people who study alternative come from the conventional medical areas. they see that surgery and pills only treat symptoms and not the real problem at hand. Faith healers, who strictly use "faith" powers or rituals with no means of acupunture or massage or herbs, may be able to "heal" people. The human body is the only thing that can heal itself, objects, faith, and other healing means only HELP the human body heal faster. Its all in ones head, whether the patient "believes" that he/she will be healed by the faith healer, could indeed help that person's body heal faster. Human body is a crazy thing to think about. Thoughts are power.
  • Yes, I do believe in it to an extent. I'm not sure if it's actually God working through them or something like that, but I think some people do have some kind of ability to heal. However, I believe most of these people (the real ones) do it quietly. I think that some of them might charge money for it, as a way of making a living, but it wouldn't be so obviously a rip-off as most of the fakers are.
