I'm starting tractor trailer driver school and need a GPS. I lost some of my hearing in the V.war so volume is important. I use reading glasses but have 20/10 vision at 10 feet and need easy to view screen. Which GPS is the best for the money?

Given your needs, you might want to consider a cheap laptop with a GPA receiver and software like Microsoft Streets and Trips. The advantage of this setup is that it has a larger screen than dedicated GPS units and you can use a portable speaker or plug it into your truck's stereo system if you really need to boost the sound level. Here's Best Buy's price for S&T plus a GPS receiver: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8511559&type=product&id=1186005932938&ref=06&loc=01&ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=8511559
