  • No. Not anywhere in the US can a wolf be kept as a pet. Some areas also forbid partial wolf breeds, also, because of their tendency to revert to feral behavior when they pose a threat to humans and other animals. Check local ordinances as well as state and federal policies.
  • Yes, in florida you can get a permit to own class 2 wildlife. (Gray wolves fall under class 2). The permit is 140 dollars and you have to have demonstrated no less than 1 year or practical experience OR 100 hours of practical experience and pass (80%) a written test.
