Besides sports, which my wife finds incredibly boring when it comes to TV watching, except for certain events, I would say it's a two-way street: I've come to appreciate some of her favorite shows and viceversa.

YES! I started watching the Food Network because of my ex-girl, and also I started watching reality tv. shows because of her.

A little bit, but then i influence him aswell, i have started watching alot of things that i never would have before and i have gotten him into all the crime programmes like csi or forensic detectives etc

Yes. But don't tell him I told you he likes to watch Dancing with the Stars and What Not to Wear. He'll just deny it. Sometimes we'll compromise and watch the Military Baby channel;)

Sure and I influence his..he loves tennis, golf, do-it-yourself projects, travel and the food channel...I like politics and also enjoy what he likes..during especially political times my fallback channel is a cable news channel mostly because of the people on it... my views and theirs are friendly with one another! :)
