I think that might be taking 'you are what you eat' to extremes in this instance. Hey, I could be wrong....
-
no not at all. I don't like a lot of the food my sister likes and we like each other fine. Many of my friends like spicy foods and I can't stand spicy foods and we all like each other bunches.
-
Not at all. My wife has favorites that are completely different from mine, and it works.
-
This wouldn't be about the Head Cheese sandwich would it? :(
-
That is funny:-) Of course not. It means they like different food.
-
Nooooo, if someone likes you it doesn't mean that he/she should like what you are eating or the food you like.
-
Let me put a different slant on this... You are an expatriate (foreigner) in a country you have lived in for almost a year and a half. Even though you are having a tough time with the language, you do understand the customs and you are very familiar with every type of food that is imaginable. A colleague prepared a special dish for you, dogmeat with rice and stuffed bittermelon (stuffed with pork). The family prepared all this ESPECIALLY FOR YOU. Now, you tell them you don't like dogmeat. They are disappointed. What do you do?
-
No people have different tastes, that being said I will not date a vegetarian (my number one deal breaker)
-
I hope friendship isn't as flimsy as that! :-) I don't think people should dislike others, just because they don't like the same food, or any other things, as other people. I think 'differences' in friendships, are just as good as 'similarities', common interests, etc. :-)
-
Of course not.
-
hopefully not ! i like alot of odd things
-
Only if they are finicky and superficial. My sister loves brunswick stew, and I HATE it, and though it smells horrible and I tell her than and she says that I am a picky eater, we are still family and still friends.
-
Everybody has different tastes.
-
Nope. It just means that they like different kinds of food than you do. It isn't personal. :)
-
Not unless that particular food is garlic, onions or curry, and then yes.
-
Not where I'm from.
-
Excuser moi, I is no longer a sort of food to be liked hell by the friend!
-
i like peanut butter and lettuce sandwiches. do you hate me now...?
-
No, it just means he/she doesn't know the meaning of "good taste".
-
Not necessarily........I don't like any kind of melted cheese but I have plenty of friends that do....
-
no me and my fiance harldy ever have the same meal...apart from my gorgous chicken curry we have different tastes in nearly everything, food, drink, music, TV, films, hobbies...but we are happy
-
I hardly like any foods my husband likes, and somedays we still like each other!!
-
Are you kidding? If that were true I wouldn't like anyone. I am the world's pickiest eater. I don't like cheese or hamburgers anything purple or feels weird in my mouth and if it's not colorful enough.... Get my drift? It would be impossible for me to like the same kinds of foods as other people. But it doesn't mean I'm not liked or that I don't like someone else.

My boyfriend doesn't like most fruit of veg. If it were up to him we'd eat meat, potatoes and gravy every night. I have IBS so plenty of fruit and veg is a must. We still get on very well though.
