Only from my last g/f. She was very special to me and I loved her more than any woman before her. It helps me to keep the memories of out time together alive.
-
No! That's holding onto that relationship, which is unhealthy, and sort of holds you back from having a new one. Also, once you get into a new one, why would you want old love letters around? What would the need be? All I would need are the nice words from my new boyfriend.
-
I do. Not because I miss those relationships or even particularly like them, but because it's neat to go back and see what kind of person you were then. I've got a shoebox full of letters and notes from high school.
-
No, I use to but I am married now and have no reason for the past to be kept around. My husband saves the letters I write him though :) it's sweet.
-
Yes. I guess I'm a hopeless romantic. I've only had one bad break-up and he never wrote me any letters, so the letters I've kept bring back fond memories.
-
i would just for the fun of it! :-)
-
I had one letter from my ex-wife I kept for a long time, but I've long since trashed the thing because the words on the letter that she wrote, conflicted with her action in our divorce.
-
I have had one lover, my husband and I have all the letters he ever wrote me as he has saved mine, too.
-
I have. Only because he's no longer with us anymore.
-
No when a love relationship ends for me it ends completely. I burn them all.
-
I kept all my old love letters from my ex-wife in our courtship days until the day I left for Vietnam when I gave them to our daughters.
-
I still have them, even though I'm happily married (and have been for 33 years). It's nice to have a reminder that at one time men other than my husband found me attractive. In other words, it's an ego boost. +5

I still have all the letters to my past love. I have not been with another since our relationship came to an end. I do not know if I will keep those letters if another should enter my life. Maybe by then I will finally be able to let them go.
-
Because he's dead and there all I have left.
-
No. I'm not a "letter" kinda guy. Just TELL me how you feel. More of an impact.
-
I have because I will probably never see or hear those words again.
-
Yes. Not because I want to hold onto past relationships but because they are a record of my personal history.
-
Some of them. Not because the flame is still there, but because when I read them it brings me back to a different place/time in my life... OR cause most guys I've been with were hilarious, and thier letters are too. Sometimes everyone needs a good laugh.
-
I used to until I got married then I tossed them.
-
No. They never sent me letters.
-
Yes. To see how i was loved unconditionally. But i lost that, because mistakes were made.
-
I only had one I held on to, but eventually I had torn it up knowing the kind of person she turned into.
