  • Certainly you can interview a potential roommate. I think it would be foolish not to do so. I'd ask how long they've been at their current job as well as their lifestyle - do they party all night and is that an issue for you? Are your lifestyle choices are problem for them? What about pets? What about lovers sleeping over? How are ulilities to be split, and food? I'd want to ask at least those questions.
  • Absolutely, interview them, I wouldn't live with anyone I didnt know.
  • Interview them like you're giving them access to your bank account - because you are!! It would be silly not to interview a potential roommate even if you knew them well. You have to get to know them from a roommate POV.
