He's 6'1" and wants to be taller? Let me guess, body builder, muscle building type? Always has to prove "what a man he is"? I'm 6 even and I'm fine with it.
-
No, and I'm under 5'2". I'm a woman, and I think it's easier for us. However, my dad was not a tall man, but proud and wise. To him, height didn't matter, he was more interested in developing his mind. What's up? Is your friend hanging out with basketball players or something?
-
Maybe, as long as its not too possible that I'm faking my height. But 6'1"?? I consider that more than tall enough. But then again I stand at a paltry 5'6" (approx). I don't think I quite make it to that height, but I'm rounding up. Just slightly shorter than average height.
-
Not if i were 6'1".
-
A person 6'1" insecure about his height, that's a new one for me. (I'm 5'8" btw). Oh, and about the shoes: Nah, I gave up on those back in the 70's : )
-
6'1" and insecure about his height? I would never wear lifts and he definitely doesn't need lifts either.
-
No Never. Sounds like he may be compensating for something maybe small feet?
-
I'm 6'2" so no never would do think about doing that. He's insecure about being 6'1"? That's not even short. It's not like he's Gary Coleman or something.
-
I am 5'1~1/2" I love being short. I do wear heels, not for hieghth but to make my legs look sexier when I wear a dress.
-
no, i'm too tall as it is .. lol
-
LOL! That's stupid! Tell him to stuff a pair of tube socks in his underwear too. That'll give 'em a couple extra inches.
-
Yes but for me there called high heels. LOL
-
I'm 6'3" tall and I would never wear shoe lifts. Sometimes I feel too tall.
-
wow. nah. im very comfortable about my shortness. i think its cuz my arms r longer than they r supposed to be so i can still reach places up high . . . lol.
-
nope.
-
Heck no. I'm 5'10" and quite happy with my height...Is he trying to impress someone taller than himself Sara?
-
I would love to have a growth spurt and be 5'10" but I wouldn't wear lifts to seem taller.. unless you count heels but that's more for the look and feel rather than height. I'm lucky to be 5'8" already. :) The thing about doing stuff to appear different than you are is your self esteem is further eroded if you are 'found out' and that's an additional worry. *shrug* Hopefully he finds something he's good at to focus his attention and gets a good feeling of self worth regardless of his height!
-
That'd just be nuts -- I'm already 6' 5", and have enough trouble smacking my head against the hand rails on the Metro as it is...
-
Yeah , to play basketball.
-
no, and i think your friend ought to throw away those lifts and address the reason for his insecurity ;)
