Definitely, very definitely, a beach person! Occasional trips to the mountains are OK, but I'd love to have a portion of the beach in my back yard.

Mountains, you can't really bike on a beach. And besides, pools are warmer, deeper, safer, and cleaner than beaches.

I was born and breed with in spitting distance of the beach and loved it for the first 20 or so years of my life ...now I'm in the highlands and love it

I prefer the beach ....somehow I feel at peace there :-)

I prefer the mountains because there's usually a greater variety of scenery and I prefer fresh water over sea water for swimming. I also love having a good workout in an alpine environment and quenching the resultant thirst with cold water straight from a melting glacier.

Beach! Girls in bikinis! LOL. But seriously, I like sun, sand, and water. All elements of paradise (that includes the girls).

I really love both, but for choosing a vacation spot, it depends on my mood! If I want quiet, secluded, and peaceful, I normally pick mountains. But for some crazy, wildly sexy fun, the beach!

I moved from the mountains to the beach. I sometimes miss the thunderstorms of the mountains, but I'll never leave the coast again.

Both. If you go to the Islands you can have both at the same time. Imaging being on a beach and looking up at beautiful mountains or visa versa. After hiking a rougged trail you strip down for a refreshing swim. That's the life.
