I really don't hate any subjects in school right now. Teachers are great, classes are interesting, etc.. There's only one class that bores the hell out of me. Sheet metal shop class. Why do I have to learn about riveting planes, fuselage, wings spars, etc... Could be the school!

Learning that "friends" aren't always the people you are hanging around. That lesson really hurt.

i've always really hated languages! sure i dont fail them, but i don't enjoy them...
-
Math, as I was the nontraditional Vo-Tech student, we were discriminated against by a very narrow minded math teacher. I've since had a very good college math course with a wonderful instructor.

At what grade? I loved school...until I ran into high school Chemistry in my Junior year. I don't know what it was, but my brain suddenly betrayed me. I was an honor student and here I was floundering in a sea of confusion! Fortunately, I had some friends and a brother who helped me get lined out enough to pass with a decent grade. I was terrified, because I knew I had to take college Chemistry for the degree I wanted. Actually, it was not so bad. It finally all fell together, and I was older when I took it in college. I went on to take Organic and Bio-Chem. I would say to all kids who are afraid of the higher sciences,...don't be! There are always tutors and helpers available that can make it come home to you. People learn differently. Sometimes, all it takes is somebody who thinks like you and can explain it the way you need it explained.

I hated learning about greek mythology.

I had a very difficult time with language and grammar. I remember that when the teachers had me make sentences with different words, let's say ten words and you had to make a sentence with each one of them, I sat down on my chair and cried for hours not knowing what to write, but every day I would turn my homework in and had very good grades. My parents could not help me with my list of words for sentences, because we had moved from Puerto Rico to Philadelphia,PA and they knew very little English, and my assignments were in English.

My god, maths. I'm meant to be doing it right now. Does anyone care about standard deviation? Or the probability of something that isn't remotely interesting? I don't.
-
I hate Math. I will never like math...ever.

1. Penmanship 2. "Social Studies" when all it talked about was imports and exports of various regions. 3. Spelling 4. Algebraic PROOFS. (loved the actual math, but hated the pointless and mindnumbing proofs we had to do, and all the silly axioms we were supposed to memorize: my "favorite" illustrating the stupidity of the whole thing: THE ADDITIVE AXIOM OF ZERO: "The sum of any whole number and zero is that whole number")
-
all of it

Math

Love everything except family life science, which was utterly worthless (where we learn about drugs, sex, violence, and how to play nicely with each other)
-
Health. I hate the class!
-
Maths hated it.

Math and anything that had to do with P.E.

Algebra. Geometry. People who are good at math say that anybody can learn it. So why do so many people answer this question saying that they couldn't learn it? I really tried, and I'm good at all of the OTHER kinds of learning. I tried many times. Could not do it. I can do standard arithmetic just fine. I can do fractions, percentages. I can balance a checkbook. I've got a pretty good sense of numbers and proportions. But I hit the wall early in algebra and early in geometry. I learned the basics (and we're talking really basic - mean, median, mode, standard deviation, significant difference) of statistics as an adult after mighty effort. I've got a fairly good qualitative understanding of probability. But don't ask me what Pearson's r is. I think a relatively small group of people really "get" math. To say "oh, anybody can do it - you just have to work harder" just makes me feel bad.
