Buffet style all the way :) When's dinner?
-
Sit down, both at home and at a restaurant. I hate going to buffet restaurants, you never get everyone sitting down at the table at the same time! It's the same at home, I like everyone sitting, not getting up and down to get food from the kitchen.
-
Mix it up and call it family style.
-
buffet style, if I bring my wombat.
-
If it's a party, I'd definitely go buffet style so you can enjoy the party too. If it's a catered event, keep in mind seated meals cost significantly more due to the greater number of servers required. If you are going to a restaurant, I'd do sit-down.

I bought this house expressly because I could have a dining room table that would seat 10 to 12 and I love it. So I always have sit down dinners.
-
I'll take both of them. Anytime as long as they have good food. But I guess I'll take the sit down dinner if its made here at Home. With good fresh farm food right from this farm. That way I'll know what I am eating & enjoy it much better..............M.C.S.

Sit down dinner :)

smOOz, I am STILL having to chase that little fartin' pop-up around on you!
-
Yes and hurry up with that vintage wine vinegar from 1889 by the way for my fries while I just sit down to eat and not forage for my meal.
-
Sit down dinner. The best part of any vacation I've ever had is room service. I just love having sit down dinners where they bring the food to you

Buffet all the way.

I do the buffet. Why settle for just one entree when I can choose a little of a whole selection of things? And I never choose things that I could have made at home. The whole point, to me, of eating out is to eat things that someone else makes better than I do, or that I don't usually cook at home.

Let me know when you're coming, I love meeting new people.
-

I prefer sit-down dinners when I’m at home with the family. But when I’m out I prefer a buffet unless it’s special occasion. Same with parties I prefer buffet unless it’s a special occasion.
-
When I go out I prefer buffet style, because I don't have to make just one choice when I start and I can change my mind as I go along, which is just fine with me.

It'll be a buffet... and I'll make it all for you. We'll have an assortment of Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean treats. I'll make spring rolls, some noodle dishes, a fried rice, something steamed. I'll do a curry dish, maybe yellow with some Kafir lime and coconut milk. Some dishes will be spicy, some mild. I'll marinate the tofu in Tamari and garlic, and bake it before combining bits of it with stir fried veggies and rice vermicelli. We'll have plenty of leftovers to pack up for your lunch tomorrow. I'm thinking about 5pm EST for appetizers (tiny egg rolls stuffed with Bok Choy, bean sprouts, carrot shreds, and served with Chinese hot mustard or Duck Sauce. Would you like to bring a friend? Let me know.

No doubt a buffet. There's nothing better than a gut stuffer.
-
Tonight it was a sit down dinner at home -- homemade fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn on the side... :-)
-

I would prefer a buffet for a party. Everyone can choose what they wish to eat. :)
