LOL yes..and we never watch TV.
-
no, I don't have a weddding ring.. But My tv will probably cost more when I get one.. Cause I don't want some gawdy ring.
-
Nope! The ring was more
-
No, but for the $$ it would have been an amazing TV. Bet the hubbie thinks about that when the game is on!!
-
No!
-
In a sense it did. I didn't buy my own wedding ring and I have no idea how much it cost.
-
Oh yes, we have a really nice HUGE tv, it was actually a gift for my hubby from me when I sold some property I had before we were married. I'm not into big gaudy jewelry, and I'd feel self-concious with a diamond bigger than 1/2 karat.
-
Not at the time, but comparing today's TVs to my original wedding ring, I would have to say the TV would be by far more expensive.
-
I am ashamed to admit this but my present tv cost almost 100 times more than what our wedding rings cost. Hey we were young and broke and got what we could afford at the moment from the jewelery counter at the local k mart. If I remember correctly both rings cost under $200.00
-
Yes. My wedding ring cost $700, the TV I am watching cost $2,000.
-
Something like that.:-)
-
Absolutely not.
-
The TV was a better investment! Ex-wife left with the ring, I still have the kids and TV!!! Much better!
-
Nope. My TV and wedding ring are both non-existent.
-
Yes, but my wedding rind, simple gold band, only cost about $200.
-
Yes, but my TV is larger and has last longer than my wedding ring did. And I could sell my TV for more than what I got for that piece of crap ring. Don't you love how overpriced anything associated with a wedding is? However, the engagement ring cost about $1,500 more than my TV.
-
No, not even close. My husband wanted to make sure I had a great ring. It is great, but sometimes when I'm cleaning it, I think about the cost and realize that I am wearing a very nice car on my finger (the price of). Crazy! But we were young and as you mature, you realize it's not about your "treasures". You live and learn!

I got married in the early 70s. You bet my TV costs more than my rings:-)
-
yes i d so , cause my wedding is long gone and so is the hubby , my ring cost 50 bucks. why spend so much on something that may not last as long as your tv anyway.
