Many hotels offer free rooms to their employees. It is very common in Lake Tahoe, for instance, where the workers can't afford the rents. Most National Parks have employee cabins, and many public campgrounds provide a place for the camp "host" free. Here where I live there are several hotels that have employee rooms. In New Orleans, the hotels and casinos had to provide free rooms for their employees, because there was no place for them to live, after the hurricane.
