  • In general, no. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." (Hebrews 9:27) Although this cliche is not found in the Bible, the principle of "as a tree falls, so shall it lay" is quite scriptural. God gives us mercy until our last breath, but after that we face Him in whatever state we chose at our last breath. There is no scripture to warrant those in hell having a second chance. I know this can raise a myriad of questions; and I answered this "in general". There is always God's sovereignty and wisdom, which far supercedes mine. But disobeying the Gospel of Jesus Christ and risking being lost with the idea that I might possibly have a second chance is not something I want to benchtest. The odds are definitely not in favor.
  • NO. NO WAY!! HELL IS THE FINAL PLACE YOU GO AFTER THE FINAL JUDGEMENT. Hope people like me are given a second chance ;-) but the fact is that we would NOT be given anymore chances!!
  • Yes. Who Is Coming Back? 13 At Revelation 20:12-14 is recorded John’s vision of the earthly resurrection: “I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. And the dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds. And the sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. And death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.” 14 The resurrection will encompass “the great and the small,” both prominent and inconspicuous humans who have lived and died. Why, even infants will be among that number! (Jeremiah 31:15, 16) At Acts 24:15, another important detail is revealed: “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.” Prominent among “the righteous” will be faithful men and women of old, such as Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, and Rahab. (Hebrews 11:1-40) Imagine being able to converse with such ones and obtain eyewitness details of Bible events of long ago! “The righteous” will also include the thousands of God-fearing individuals who have died in more recent times and who did not have a heavenly hope. Do you have a family member or a loved one who might be among these? How comforting it is to know that you can see them again! Who, though, are the “unrighteous” individuals that will also come back? They include millions, perhaps billions, who died without having an opportunity to come to learn and apply Bible truth. 15 How will returning ones be “judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds”? These scrolls are not the record of their past deeds; when they died, they were acquitted of the sins they committed during their lifetime. (Romans 6:7, 23) However, resurrected humans will still be under Adamic sin. It must be, then, that these scrolls will set forth divine instructions that all must follow in order to benefit fully from the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. As the last trace of Adamic sin is eliminated, ‘death will be brought to nothing’ in the fullest sense. By the end of the thousand years, God will “be all things to everyone.” (1 Corinthians 15:28) No longer will man need the intervention of a High Priest or Ransomer. All mankind will be restored to the perfect state Adam originally enjoyed.
  • No. Hell is the state of complete and final self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed, reserved for those who refuse by their own free choice to believe and be converted from sin, even to the end of their lives I like to think of it this way. The only way a person will go to hell is if they want to. God in His (or Her) unlimited love has given us free will to choose. Our most important choice is to freely decide to accept or reject God's constant offer of spending eternity with Him in heaven. God will respect the choice to reject Him. • In the small town of Bethany, about two miles [3 km] east of Jerusalem, Mary and Martha were mourning the untimely death of their brother, Lazarus. Jesus shared their grief, for he had affection for Lazarus and his sisters. How could Jesus console the sisters? Not by telling them some convoluted story, but by telling them the truth. Jesus simply said: “Your brother will rise.” Jesus then went to the tomb, and he resurrected Lazarus—restoring life to a man who had been dead for four days!—John 11:18-23, 38-44. Was Martha surprised by Jesus’ statement that Lazarus would “rise”? Apparently not, for she answered: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” She already had faith in the promise of a resurrection. Jesus then told her: “I am the resurrection and the life. He that exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life.” (John 11:23-25) The miracle of Lazarus’ restoration to life served to reinforce her faith and instill faith in others. (John 11:45) But exactly what is meant by the term “resurrection”? The word “resurrection” is translated from the Greek word a·na′sta·sis, which literally means “a standing up again.” Hebrew translators of the Greek have rendered a·na′sta·sis with an expression that means “revival of the dead” (Hebrew, techi·yath′ ham·me·thim′). Thus, resurrection involves raising the person from the lifeless condition of death—restoring and reactivating the life pattern of the individual. Being infinite in wisdom and perfect in memory, Jehovah God can easily resurrect a person. Remembering the life pattern of dead ones—their personality traits, their personal history, and all the details of their identity—is not a problem for him. (Job 12:13; compare Isaiah 40:26.) Moreover, as the experience of Lazarus indicates, Jesus Christ is both willing and able to resurrect the dead. (Compare Luke 7:11-17; 8:40-56) In fact, Jesus Christ said: “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his [Jesus’] voice and come out.” (John 5:28, 29) Yes, Jesus Christ promised that all those in Jehovah’s memory will be resurrected. Clearly, according to the Bible, the soul dies, and the remedy for death is the resurrection. But billions of people have lived and died. Who among them are in God’s memory, awaiting the resurrection? Those who have pursued a righteous course ,,yet, millions of other people have died without showing whether they would comply with God’s righteous standards. They either were ignorant of Jehovah’s requirements or lacked sufficient time to make needed changes. These others too are in God’s memory and thus will be resurrected, for the Bible promises: “There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”—Acts 24:15. The apostle John had a thrilling vision of resurrected ones standing before the throne of God. Describing it, he wrote: “The sea gave up those dead in it, and death and Hades gave up those dead in them, and they were judged individually according to their deeds. And death and Hades were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:12-14) Think of what that means! All the dead who are in God’s memory will be released from Hades, or Sheol, mankind’s common grave. (Psalm 16:10; Acts 2:31) Then “death and Hades” will be hurled into what is called “the lake of fire,” symbolizing complete destruction. The common grave of mankind will cease to exist. A Unique Prospect! When millions are raised in the resurrection, they will not be brought back to life on an empty earth. (Isaiah 45:18) They will awaken in beautifully improved surroundings and will find that living quarters, clothing, and an abundance of food have been prepared for them. (Psalm 67:6; 72:16; Isaiah 65:21, 22) Who will make all these preparations? Clearly, people will have to be living in the new world before the earthly resurrection begins. But who? The fulfillment of Bible prophecy shows that we are living in “the last days” of this system of things. (2 Timothy 3:1) Very soon now, Jehovah God is going to intervene in human affairs and wipe out wickedness from the earth. (Psalm 37:10, 11; Proverbs 2:21, 22) At that time, what will happen to those who are faithfully serving God? Jehovah will not destroy the righteous along with the wicked. (Psalm 145:20) He has never done such a thing, and he will not do it when he cleanses the earth of all badness. (Compare Genesis 18:22, 23, 26.) In fact, the last book of the Bible speaks of “a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues,” coming out of “the great tribulation.” (Revelation 7:9-14) Yes, a great multitude will survive the great tribulation in which the present wicked world ends, and they will enter God’s new world. There, obedient mankind can fully benefit from God’s marvelous provision to free mankind from sin and death. (Revelation 22:1, 2) Thus, the “great crowd” need never experience death. What a unique prospect! Life Without Death Can we have confidence in this astounding hope? Absolutely! Jesus Christ himself indicated that there would be a time when people would live without ever dying. Just before resurrecting his friend Lazarus, Jesus told Martha: “Everyone that is living and exercises faith in me will never die at all.”—John 11:26. Do you want to live forever in Paradise on earth? Do you yearn to see your loved ones again? “The world is passing away and so is its desire, but he that does the will of God remains forever,” says the apostle John. (1 John 2:17) Now is the time to learn what God’s will is and be resolved to live in harmony with it. Then you, along with millions of others already doing God’s will, can live forever in Paradise on earth.
  • You second chance is here and now. Better take it.
  • Yes...Many in the Bible hell will be given a second chance.(Hebrew and Greek Sheol and Hades) These original words from which the English word hell is translated refer to the common grave of all manking...Not a place of torment) Only God can determine who receives what judgement. The Bible says that both the righteous and unrighteous will receive a resurrection. (The wicked will be destroyed everlastingly) Will the unrighteous, as some contend, be reserected simply to face an adverse judgment? Not according to Scripture. The Bible tells that "death is the wages we pay for sin." And, "those who have died have been acquited of sin". This would not be the case if people were in some place of torment. Or, if those unrighteous ones resurected would then be sent to such a place. Many, many people have lived their lifes and died without ever seeing a Bible or having a chance to know and obey (serve) Jehovah. This will sound strange to some, since the Bible has been so badly represented. This idea will contradict, not what the Bible says, but what people have been taught.
  • Those in hell no. However no one is in hell right now. And will not be until judgement day. Which is after the millinium.
  • Hell no! (sorry I couldn't resist the setup for the punchline was just SO right!)
  • no. for the old fashioned christian belief its red hot pokers up your bum for the rest of eternity, that's right eternity - bit strict, arn't they? wonder if they say you naughty boy as well?
  • Those that are in hell? No one is in hell at this time. Because judgement day is not here. And will not be until after the millinium. When Jesus rules and it will be a time of teaching. Would it be fair or just for God to send a person to hell that lived in a tribe somewhere that never heard the word of God? No and God is good. So in the millinium they will be taught and then have the chance to accept Jesus as Lord. Then at the end of the millinium we will have judgment day and those that do not accept God will be thown into the lake of fire and that is the 2nd death.
  • Another question by a 'washed-brain' blind-believer, perhaps unemployed, acting as a part-time preacher prawling, or kerb-crawling AB! No sale & no, not sorry! * ANSWER: 'Too late! Na na na... na na!' * This is what happens of believers in non-existent non-entities of nonsense. It would be insult to monkeys & rats to say 'religion makes monkeys/rats out of educated ‘e-literate’ people believing in gods, godp imps and peddlers of other superstition.
