  • Yes feeling sick, numbness and pain in the face are all normal. Sometimes you will get flashing lights in your eyes before the on set of the head ache. Light and noise will make you feel worse. I suffered with those god awful headaches for 10 years! I was always getting carted to the emergency room because I could not stop vomiting and the pain was too horrible to deal with. They would shoot me up with Demerol and give me something to stop the vomiting and send me home. Boy I feel so sorry for you. ((HUGS))

  • I've had migraines for many years and just recently started doing what is called EFT and it's wonderful to get rid of them. When i feel one coming i tap away and if I've caught it before it gets to the nauseous, hide from he light stage, they go away. EFT is Emotional Freedom technique. You can learn to do it free by going to this website: http://www.emofree.com/ And downloading the free manual. There are DVDs you can buy if you want to learn more about it but all I've done is use that manual. I'll upload a video that shows you a bit of what the tapping looks like when someone is doing it. Looks silly but works. It's based on shiatsu and acupuncture points.
  • My worst migraines have pain in my right eye so bad it feels like it is going to explode. It is completely normal for a migraine per my nuerologist. I have found that something semi cool, not wet, gently placed against my temple helps. Good luck.
