Avoidance, ignoring.
-
When you look at them, or are even near them, they look/walk away.
-
That pie in the face does it every time...
-
They are not friendly, they do not smile at you or with you when you say something funny. They try to avoid you. They don't speak, when you speak to them. Just a few examples.
-
When you ask them a question they give you the shortest answer that they could possibly give.

Usually the hints I get aren't that subtle: people say I'm an arrogant ass, a liar and fraud, an ignorant fool, an evil influence. I don't find myself having to read between the lines a lot to get the message :) On the broader topic, I think it's good to notice my concern for other's opinions. It's not that I don't care what other people think, I do -- and sometimes it's quite hurtful when someone takes that kind of posture and says that kind of thing. But I think it's important not to get caught up in STEERING my actions based on this concern. People think all sorts of things, and have all sorts of preconceptions and prejudices which influence their opinion. I can't be myself and simultaneously seek the approval of others, and any time I start trying to do that life gets very frustrating very quickly.

Not answering your calls, not answering the door when you go to their house, or if they tell you "I don't like you".
-
I just usually say, "Walk east until your hat floats."
-
They usually say something like, "I dislike you."
-
They ignore me...which is the worst. I would rather have a blow out with words than to be ignored. Another is they no longer email or call...just avoid you like the plague.
-
Here in AB land... they jump on an answer of mine and leave a string of nasty comments and call me names and tell me I'm odd. In real life..they stay away from me. The Internet makes some people brave doesn't it.
-
the middle finger pointed skywards
-
they crap on your doormat
-
No reply to an email tends to make one think...
-
They down-rate me.
-
The biggest hint would be that they don't even talk to me. Well, that's what I would guess anyway if someone wasn't talking to be for no apparent reason.
-
From a body language point of view, crossed arms is a big hint. Avoiding eye contact & looking in a different direction when you are talking to them are also hints. Rolling their eyes at what you say. In general ignoring you.
-
Ignore you or don't respond to you in a positive way.
