Too darn true but at least they may get a decent Manager now. European Championships without England he should have to run over hot coals to turn out such a weak idiotic team. 2-3 at Wembley is a rout not a loss.

It is a shame but well... no more than they deserved. They didn't lose it tonight. They lost it months ago. I think the charges of arrogance and thinking they deserved a place in Euro 2008 have some ring of truth. Not ALL McLaren's fault. A lot yes, but as I said elsewhere the media are to blame. No decent manager would touch the job after what they have done to the previous incumbents.

Completely dejected, the Golden Generation's last shot at glory was Euro 2008. 2010 the team will still be in good form - though a bit old - but we all know the English can't play in the heat ;)
