not as far as I know..they have their own diseases
-
yes i think most animals can get it.
-
AIDS is caused by HIV, "Human Immunodeficiency Virus", so I'd say no.
-
I don't think dogs can. Cats can though.
-
Not what we call AIDs because ours is caused by a virus that is human based, but dogs can get immunodeficient syndromes of their own. All animals can. They usually turn up when animals are stressed.
-
Yes, my dog got this about ten years ago from a female dog. It was an extremely sad thing to see him go through. He only lasted a couple of months after he contracted the disease. Nothing the vets did helped.

Erm . . . can someone with abit of knowledge answer please???

The answer is without a doubt - NO. Check out this link from the Center for Disease Control for more info. http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/qa/qa33.htm

I am so tired of ignorant people giving answers when they've not done the research! No cats do not have HIV; cats get FIV- Feline Immunodifiecny Virus. FIV is a totally different disease that can not cross over into us as HIV does not cross over into any cat. This information can be found at http://www.vetinfo.com/dinfdis.html Please take the time and view this for yourself. You may have to scroll down a bit. Warning any ignorance might be cured.
