Mostly buy. I like to read in the bath tub, and don't want to do that with a library book. Also, I like to collect books. I do use the library though, and am acutally currently reading a library book.
-
Both, I am always at the library looking for new Audio books, they help me relax. I spend a lot of lunchtimes browsing the City bookshops. I am going to get all my books out of storage and turn my spare bedroom into a library/office.

I buy them, that way when I need to get away I can open a book and climb in to escape. No one would ever find me in there !

well when I can t but them, or they all have that damn secutity tag that you can t remove I pack a lunch and picnic dinner and spent the day at the library reading them, when I can I slip away inside so I can stay there overnight reading, (reading by candle light sucks but last time I turned the lights on I soent several days incarcerated for BE when I find a really good passage in a book, I either copy it or If I am broke and cant pay for a copy, I cut it out to take, No one else reads them anyway. I guess thats why NO library around my area will let me in so can I borrow a book sally?

I used to buy, then I sold my business. Now I am happy to borrow them from the libary. I have recently cataloged my books on the website that Sall the Redhead recommends in some of the comments. The website is great and I am very glad that I did it. The site tells you other people with the same book, how many people have it who are librarything members--it is just great. Buster

I buy them for two reasons! 1- I like to read and then reread and then reread again. 2- I have to pay 25 dollars to renew my library card, and I don't feel like paying for it. If I borrow a book from the library, I go with a friend and we get the books on her card and share them.

I always go to the library for my reading needs. Sometimes I buy books, but not as often. It's cheaper that way, and if I liked a book enough, I would go and buy it anyways.
