How Snugly Does a Russian or Ukrainiian tea glass have to fit in its metal holder?

I purchased a couple of tea holders. The glasses I am using are smaller in diameter than the tea holder is. Do I used it like this, rather clumsy or do I find a better fitting glass. https://www.ebay.com/itm/274828835424
