Just when I thought I am doing great at my new job, i get fired. How come
I worked utmost best I could. It was my third week at the new job and then I'm given notification that I am fired. I asked "why" and was told, "You punched in for another worker while he was out". The worker told me "I already spoke to the manager that I will be late to work and he said someone else can punch in for me". That worker also got fired but he set me up

That really sucks, people doing shit to you for no reason. I'd tell the boss if I were you.

If you actually did punch in for an absent coworker, then you are the one who set you up. Sorry! You will be able to see this when you grow up.

Clocking a worker who isn't there on is stealing from the employer. You were fired because you are a thief is how it comes across to me. You must of known you were doing the wrong thing when you clocked the other employee on?
