(Read: they had several weeks to revise the "lost" document.) They broke the law. They just didn't get caught doing it. *** What about Clinton's treatment of whats-her-name? He broke the law. *** What about Clinton's testimony? He broke the law. *** In those last two cases he DID get caught.

  I'm remembering the newspaper articles of the time. I don't know about any online source. But it was a big "scandal" during the weeks that the papers were "past due".

  An unnamed maid "found" the papers on an end table (so memory tells me, it might have been a different type of table) in (what was supposedly) one of the most-used rooms of the White House. Strange that the room had not been cleaned for so long (or had it? that wasn't reported). Strange that no one had noticed the large document sitting out in the open on a table for weeks while the courts were inquiring why the documents hadn't been delivered by the court-mandated date and the Clintons were claiming that said papers were "lost".

IMO it's impossible to be elected President in the U.S. if you don't lie (and lie and lie and lie) during the campaign. Clinton, IMO, was an even bigger liar than the typical Presidential candidate...but they all still lie (and lie and lie and lie).
