  • Not rare but they are less likely to be hired.
  • Never trust a skinny cook.
  • I agree with Linus on this one. Skinny cooks don't make good food or they'd be fatter. Why do you think they made Ms. Butterworth pleasantly plump? I'm fat and I worked in restaurants most of my life. Even managed a couple of them. And as a footnote, not everyone sees an overweight person and thinks they don't want to be like that. That's just your prejudice. Even at 61 I still have to fight to keep my young neighbor from trying to grab my fat ass every time I give him a hug. And my ex said he wanted a women with enough butt to keep her 'hot box' up off the sheets. Not that I encourage obesity, its not healthy. Just to say not everyone sees it like you do. I get a little sick to my stomach when I see crack/heroine skinny waitresses serving food. Or anywhere, really. That's not healthy either. I want to feed them and help them get healthy.
  • I think overweight people need the job as much as skinny people do. lol
  • I'd think you were a hypocrite. If the food is secondary to you, just go to McDonald's where you can inspect the help and ensure that they don't ruin your aristocratic appetite.
