  • Follow the money. If "climate change" was actually real, the money going into those projects would have shown a return on investment after all these years. So, on point 1, money is being sucked out of the economy and we're getting nothing in return. On the other side of the debate, the extraction of fossil fuels has been stopped, resulting in higher prices via a supply-and-demand economy. Destroying America's oil independence and throwing us back on the dependence on foreign oil increases the already high price of gas. Thus, on point 2, money is again being sucked out of the economy. If one were to reverse that trend, the effect on the economy would be reversed as well.
