  • I've spoken with abused women, and more often than not, they see something beneath the anger and excuse it for the sake to be original to the other person. Killers are often the most polite, kind and good, then all of the sudden something snaps in them. This is easily knowable public knowledge, how could you not know?

  • Many reasons, and some may be unique to the individual woman (or man). She may be genuinely in love; she may fear for her loved ones; she may have lost all self-esteem and will to take action after being abused for a long time; she may think the abuse is actually a means of SHOWING love. Some abused women interpret the anger and abuse (especially if they seem to result from jealousy) as a sign of intense feeling. It should be pointed out, by the way, that most angry and abusive people don't actually end up killing their spouses. If more of them did, more of the victims might leave before being murdered.
