  • " Founded in 1828, the Democratic Party is the oldest of the two largest U.S. political parties. The Republican Party was officially founded in 1854, but the histories of both parties are intrinsically connected." The two parties give people a choice they should vote for whomever they choose for whatever reason they choose and you have no right to tell anyone else what to think or believe. Evolution is a theory, just like the big bang, and your theory that anyone is "making it tougher for Blacks to vote". How, by not giving them water while they wait? The gimmie culture is cheating those who fall for the con into a lack of self sufficiency and pride in a job well done and a life worth something and putting the burden on their children to pay for it. Besides the fact its not the job of the government to finance your life. Its the job of people with able bodies and minds to work. Its the job of humanitarians to care for the needy. If you care then give your money not someone else's money that was stolen from them by the government! There is nothing benevolent about giving away someone else's money!

"Evolution is a theory, just like the big bang" Use the internet and LEARN the difference between the basic word THEORY and the phrase SCIENTIFIC THEORY. Then, come back with some information.
  • I know. If you look at the Republican platforms from the 1950s they're full of things that today's GOP is calling "radical socialism" - public works projects, support for unions, strengthening Social Security, worker assistance, fighting to protect pensions, and better health protection. The 1956 platform also had this section: "The Republican Party supports an immigration policy which is in keeping with the traditions of America in providing a haven for oppressed peoples," another value dismissed as too radical in 2020. The GOP has drifted so far to the right that it's hard to consider it American now. It's fascist.
  • They automatically ignore the misery the current and past system put into place for many. The Democrats are not much better.
  • This is actually a relatively recent development. In earlier decades, the GOP was rather more progressive or at least moderate. However, as the Democratic Party began to attract educated, affluent liberals, who embraced even more progressive causes, the very conservative and less-educated members of the electorate began gravitating towards the Republicans. I'd date the real beginning of this evolution to the early 90s, with the election of a Baby Boomer president in Bill Clinton. George H.W. Bush, his predecessor, represented exactly the sort of moderate and even progressive Republican to whom I referred, someone who'd be considered a flat-out liberal today.

He kept on calling it a Democratic hoax. lol https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/donald-trump/trump-calls-coronavirus-democrats-new-hoax-n1145721
