It depends on your body, how bad the break is, where the break is, and how carefully you care for it as it heals. I broke my elbow more than ten years ago and I still can't straighten my arm all the way.

What he said. Also how old you are. I've had bones broken from 10 mos to almost 60 yrs. Also how it was broken. A clean hairline fracture or was the bone shattered into a bunch of little pieces? Did you walk on it too soon? Ask your doctor.
